Terms of Service
TimeBridge Studio Effective Date: September 8, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the website timebridge.studio (the “Site”) or engaging TimeBridge Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for interview and memory-recording services (the “Services”). By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Services
TimeBridge Studio conducts personal interviews, which are recorded and produced into a final memory product (such as an audio or video recording) for the customer. Interviews may take place in person, with the final product delivered digitally, physically (such as via flash drive), or both.
2. Booking and Scheduling
[Describe how interviews are booked/scheduled — e.g., by email, phone, or online form — once this process is finalized.]
3. Fees and Payment
[Insert pricing structure, payment methods accepted, and payment timing — e.g., deposit required, balance due on delivery.]
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
[Insert your cancellation/rescheduling policy — e.g., notice required, any fees for late cancellation, refund conditions. This is an important business decision to finalize before launch.]
5. Interview Consent
Separate from these Terms, every person who is interviewed and/or recorded (and, where applicable, any other individuals referenced or appearing in the recording) will be asked to sign a separate written consent and release form prior to the interview. This form will cover matters such as:
- Consent to be recorded (audio/video)
- How the recording and final product may be used
- Any additional releases needed if the interview will be recorded in a state other than Wisconsin, since recording-consent laws vary by state
(Note: this consent process should be set up separately from the website Terms of Service — a website checkbox is generally not sufficient for a recorded personal interview. Please have this reviewed by an attorney before your first customer.)
6. Ownership of Content
[This is a decision to finalize: for example, will the customer own the final edited product outright, while TimeBridge Studio retains ownership of raw/unedited recordings and working files? May TimeBridge Studio use excerpts of the recording for marketing purposes without separate permission, or only with the customer’s explicit consent? Insert the agreed approach here.]
7. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Site to transmit harmful code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or misuse the contact information provided on the Site.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services and Site are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to accurately capture and preserve the stories and memories shared with us, but we cannot guarantee that every technical or human error will be avoided.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimeBridge Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services, including damages related to lost or damaged recordings, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
